Sleek, Modern Versatility
Talon Spigots give you maximum views, minimalist design, and elegant points of contact to the floor. They’re the perfect complement to modern home designs.
Ideal for most surfaces, whether wood, tile or concrete, Talons can be either surface mounted for a bold look or side mounted to leave your entire floor open and walkable. For stair flights use Ascend Talons, spigots designed specifically to handle the incline.
Built for Safety
Architectural glass is clamped securely into our precision-machined, solid aluminum spigots which are anchored to a solid surface or fascia. Don’t let their size fool you, Talon Spigots are engineered for outsized strength and safety.
For your custom Talon Spigot system, we’ll engineer everything — glass thickness, spigot counts/spacing, handrails, etc. — to make sure it’s exactly what you want, up to code, and built strong.
Simple, Safe Installation
A solid substrate and backing is critical for your Talon Spigot system. Once you’ve confirmed what you need, you can lay out and anchor your talons, set in your glass, and level the full system. Put on the final touches with optional handrail and spigot covers.
Even easier? Use our Certified Installers for a professional install from stairs to railing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, when designed to your project. We set glass thickness, spigot count/spacing, anchors, and handrail details with your Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) under the applicable IRC/IBC code.
A cap rail is often recommended for stiffness and edge protection. Many commercial or high‑load conditions require a continuous top cap. Your drawings will indicate what’s required.
A maximum of 48 inches. Panel width and height depend on glass type, exposure, and load category. We’ll finalize spans during engineering. Your shop drawings will show exact sizes.
Commonly two per 4 foot panel on level runs. Shop drawings will show exact counts.
Concrete, steel, and wood framing with adequate blocking (typically at least 4" of solid substrate, see your specific drawings) all work. Anchors and spacing are called out on the drawings based on your substrate.
Use durable powder‑coat finishes; in harsh/coastal regions, specify premium coatings. Covers can be color‑matched to surrounding finishes.
Many independent contractors and DIYers install with our documentation. Through our nationwide network of experienced Certified Installers, you can find a professional familiar with Viewrail systems in your region.
