Do these vertical lines make my stairs look slimmer? Divino Homes helped this client in Dallas, Tex., who wanted a unique look. Solid red oak treads and wooden handrail add warmth to this entry way, pairing nicely with black accents in the iron balusters, stair structure, and the front door. Instead of horizontal railing that would have clashed with the beautiful wooden paneling along the stairs, this client wanted iron balusters – typically used in more traditional homes.
