The artistry behind this floating deck structure was put together by April Wilkerson in Hills County, Texas. With her extensive DIY and woodworking knowledge, she was able to assemble this platform around live oak trees using slim, bendable rod railing infill. To keep a natural look for the deck and ensure longevity, she chose Endurance rods rather than cable. It’s beneficial to remember rod is less likely to corrode because of weather conditions and offers a cheaper, cleaner alternative to cable railing.
